Certains pensent que la réalité
augmentée est une technologie très récente. Cependant, elle a vu le jour il y a
déjà une cinquantaine d’années, mais n’a émergé aux yeux du grand public que
très récemment, devenant ainsi plus accessible. Il est difficile de prévoir le
futur, mais quelques projets prometteurs nous laissent présager que la réalité
augmentée pourra faire partie intégrante de notre vie. Nous étudierons son impact
possible sur notre quotidien.
Dans un
premier temps, nous définirons tout ce qui a un rapport avec les interactions
entre le virtuel et la réalité, en exposant les débuts de cette technologie.
Ensuite, nous observerons les avancées technologiques qui ont amené la réalité
augmentée au niveau auquel elle est actuellement. Nous pourrons ainsi montrer
les domaines qui l’utilisent déjà, comme les jeux vidéo ou la mode. Pour
terminer, nous spéculerons sur les utilisations que nous pourrions faire de
cette technologie et comment elle pourrait impacter la société de demain.
Some think that augmented reality is a very recent technology. However,
it has emerged for fifty years, but became public and more accessible only
recently. It is difficult to predict the future, but some promising projects
let us think that augmented reality will be an integral part of our lives.
That’s why we will study the possible impact of augmented reality in our daily
lives.
First, we will define everything that has to do with interactions
between virtual and reality, exposing the beginnings of this technology. Then
we will observe the technological advances that have led the augmented reality
in which it is present. This will allow us to show subjects that are already
using, such as video games or fashion. Finally, we will speculate on the uses that
we could do with this technology and how it could impact on tomorrow's society.
